Teacher Education, Beliefs, and Identity (TED)

This strand focuses on theories and practices related to language teacher education (both pre-service and in-service); the identification, assessment, and development of teachers’ beliefs, cognition, and personal knowledge about language teaching and learning; and issues related to teacher identity, agency, roles, and emotions.
