Phonology/Phonetics and Oral Communication (POC)

This strand features research that focuses on how the sounds and prosody of language are acquired, processed, and used in oral communication. Issues may be examined from a range of theoretical and methodological perspectives.  Examples of topics include (but are not restricted to) the perception and production of oral language, comprehensibility, intelligibility, accent, and pronunciation teaching and learning.
