Flying to Dallas

Airport to Hotel Information

The Sheraton Dallas Hotel is happy to welcome AAAL attendees by offering the following room rates:

Singles: $161.00 per night
Doubles: $161.00 per night

Rates do not include applicable state and local taxes, currently 15%. Conference rates run from March 13 - March 20, 2013. Any AAAL attendees that remain as guests at the Sheraton Dallas over the TESOL 2013 conference (3/20 - 3/23/13) will need to secure a separate reservation within the TESOL room block at the prevailing TESOL Group Rate.

Reservations must be made by Friday, February 22, 2013 in order to receive the above room rates.

Flying to Dallas

You have the choice of flying into either Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL).

We are happy to announce that we are offering discounts again this year to all AAAL attendees who fly American Airlines or Delta Airlines to DFW airport. Discount information will be posted very soon.

American Airlines = 5% discount

To receive the discount from American Airlines, please utilize the following promotion code when booking your ticket: 8833BZ.

Delta = 5-10% discount depending on ticket type

Reservations and ticketing is available via or by calling Delta Meeting Network Reservations at 800-328-1111. Please note that a Direct Ticketing Charge will apply for booking by phone.

To book online, please visit the Delta website,, select "Book a Trip" on the left side of the screen, then select "Meeting Event Code" from the options that will be at the bottom of the white area on the screen. From there, you'll be taken to a new page to book a round trip ticket. Please enter the following in the "Meeting Event Code" box: NMEFU.

Should you choose to book your flight over the phone, the same code can be used, but there will be a $25 call-in fee.

  • Contract not valid with other discounts, certificates, coupons or promotional offers. Not all fares are eligible for use with this code. Fare rules will determine eligibility.

Airport to Hotel Information

Whether you are flying into DFW or Love Field, shuttle buses and taxis are available for your transportation needs.

Shuttle Buses:

GO Yellow Checker Shuttle and SuperShuttle are available at both airports. We recommend that before you arrive you purchase your tickets online at Just enter your airport, type of fare (one way or round trip) and your hotel (Sheraton Dallas Hotel at 400 N Olive Street). Round trip fares are $36 to $38 from DFW and Love Field.


At DFW Airport, taxi service is available on the upper level of Terminals A, B, C and E, and on the lower level of Terminal D.
An Airport Guest Assistant will be available at the taxi stands between 8:00 AM and midnight. Between midnight and 8:00 AM, dial 972 574 5878 to request a taxi. Fares are roughly $45 one way.

At Dallas Love Field, taxi service is provided on the upper level across the street from the baggage claim wing of the main terminal building. Fares are roughly $20 one way.

Rental Car:

AAAL attendees can receive anywhere from a 5-40% discount from Avis Budget Group, depending on the type of car rented.
